Paul Ludwig

Paul Ludwig graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kansas. Paul then joined the hotel division of Ludwig and Company, taking over the management responsibilities for the Ramada Inn, Waukegan, a 200-unit, full service hotel with banquet facilities, meeting rooms, a restaurant, cocktail lounge, gift shop, pool area, and breakfast bar.  Paul’s duties at the hotel included staffing, overseeing capital improvements, contracting with vendors, purchasing necessary supplies and services, monitoring the daily room sales, reviewing the monthly financial statements, setting guest service policies, and marketing to local businesses.  Paul also acted as a liaison to the nearby Great Lakes Naval Base to coordinate travel arrangements and meet and greet receptions for families of naval graduate candidates living out of town. The Ramada Inn, Waukegan was sold in December 2012, ending Paul’s 20 year tenure as CEO of the facility.

Paul then joined Ludwig and Company’s residential rental community division as Vice President of Marketing.  Paul brings to Ludwig and Company his vast experience in setting customer service policies, developing and implementing a marketing strategy, working within the community to facilitate a positive reputation, monitoring the work of vendors, and setting and monitoring financial goals for an asset.

Paul works closely with the onsite staffs of Ludwig and Company’s luxury and market rate properties through frequent site visits and direct communication with the onsite property managers regarding the day-to-day leasing and occupancy statistics, curb appeal, capital projects, marketing programs in place, and resident social programs.
