Bill Collins

Bill Collins joined Ludwig and Company in 2009.  Bill graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University.  He also holds real estate certifications as an Accredited Residential Manager and Housing Credit Certified Professional.  Additionally, Bill is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.

Bill assists Richard Goldstein, Vice President of Operations, in the oversight of onsite, day-to-day operations throughout the Ludwig portfolio. Bill coordinates all necessary support needed to efficiently utilize onsite computer systems, trains all new employees on our onsite software, and verifies that all onsite reporting is accurate and timely.  Bill is also responsible for setting up the property data for all newly acquired business on our reporting system.  He assures that resident information, account balances, compliance, leasing, occupancy, and work order data received at the time of management transition are properly recorded in the system.

Bill assesses the office equipment needs of each property.  He initiates all necessary purchases and coordinates the installation of new, upgraded, and replacement computer, copier, printer, scanner, telephone, Internet, and network systems.

Bill has developed a weekly statistics reporting system, used by each property, to track the weekly occupancy, collections, delinquency, and reputation data.  Bill coordinates, compiles, and reports this information for each of our developments at the Ludwig and Company weekly corporate meeting.

Bill works closely with our clients to develop special reports, as requested, which compile data in a format that meets the needs of ownership in assessing the success of their asset.  Bill also meets with syndicators and lenders to discuss the progress of the asset and provide all requested reports and data.

Bill plays a key role in the success of our business by assuring that our property data is accurate and timely, our employees are well trained, and our corporate management and clients are kept apprised of each asset’s current financial position.
